Carmina's Biography
Carmina Burana is an accomplished coloratura toprano from San Francisco, California. She is currently the award-winning prima donna at the San Francisco Opera. Carmina also teaches Master Classes at San Fransisco State University and offers private classes to aspiring students.
During the 2014 Spring-Summer Opera Season, Carmina will be in Vienna, Austria and Hong Kong, China where she will perform as the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte; as Violetta in La Traviata and the title role of Thaïs. Carmina has a Bachelor of Music from University of Miami and Masters of Music from San Francisco State University.
